Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most prominent cricketers of India. His fan following is not restricted to only India; he has fans across the world. He is recognized to be the God of Cricket. He played cricket for India for more than three decades. He came to the world in the year 1973 on the 24th of April in Mumbai. The name of his father is Ramesh Tendulkar and the name of his mother is Rajni Tendulkar. He has four siblings, and he is the minor among them. He has had a fascination for cricket from a very childish age. He was always supported by his parents. He is fondly called “Master Blaster” and ” Little Master “among his fans. Moreover, being a legendary cricketer, he is noticed for his polite and down-to-earth nature. He took on cricket at the age of eleven. He had his first cricket match at 16 years old against Pakistan. He came to be the first man on the globe to achieve a double century in one day of international cricket. He is the only player to score better than 30,000 runs in international cricket. He has played the most ODI tournaments. The final tournament he played was against the West Indies on 14 November 2013. He ran 18426 in 463 divisional matches. He has 15921 tournaments in 200 test matches. He has 51 centuries in Divisional Test matches. He is quiet in character, but whoever chats with him constantly applauds his gentle behaviour. He was the first sportsperson to be bestowed the honorary rank of group captain by the Indian Air Force. He wedded Anjali Mehta in 1995, and the pair had two kids. He obtained several honours in his career, he received the Arjun Award in 1994, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, and many more. He was bestowed India’s highest award, “Bharat Ratna”.He resigned from cricket in 2013. After his retirement, he became a member of parliament.
