Are plants and animals both living beings? What are the differences between them?
Plants vs Animal
Both plants and animals are living organisms. There is a vast difference between the two. It is due to this difference that both are classified under entirely different kingdoms. Plants belong to the kingdom Plantae while animals belong to the kingdom Animalia. The physical differences between plants and animals are also vivid. Plants cannot move by themselves, but animals can move. Plants produce (not all) oxygen through a process known as photosynthesis, while animals consume this oxygen and emit carbon dioxide. Animals have specialized vessels for the transformation of energy and water called phloem and xylem. Animals lack this but have substitutes for the purpose. The average life span of many plants is greater than that of animals. Plants have leaves, but animals don’t. Plants are green in color, but different animals have different colors. Plants have the uniqueness of forming fruits and flowers, but animals don’t. There are so many differences between plants and animals. They may be microscopic to physical.
