Discuss various types of pollen agents.
Pollen Agents
Ecology is built on the strong foundations of both flora and fauna, along with the general spread of common botanical as well as zoological diversities. To be more precise, even if we consider the evolutionary history, the significance of botanical diversity is unavoidable. The evolution was made possible with the help of photosynthesis and other allied phenomena. For all these phenomena to happen, pollination was necessary for the continuation of botanical life. This is made through different pollen agents. Pollen agents were sometimes plants themselves, by pollinating within a flower. Some other pollen agents include bees, wind, water, etc. Pollen agents are those organisms or substances that help in the transfer of pollen grains from one flower to another. Pollen agents like honey bees come in search of nectar and thereby spread pollen grains, which get stuck in the body and later fall on other plants. In the end, the pollen grains will spread to the nearby flowers, thereby enabling pollination.
