Lata Mangeshkar
Lata Mangeshkar is a great Indian playback singer, she often called as the “Nightingale of India”. She is one of the best singer ever. Her songs are so melodious that people of every generation like to hear it. She sung songs more than 36 regional languages of India, like Hindi, bengali, tamil, telugu, malayalam, kannada any many more. She is singing over 65 years and her songs are very famous in Bollywood and other regional music industry. She is born on 1920 at Indor in British India. Her father was Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar and her mother was Sevanti. He is belong to a musical family. Her father himself is a singer and actor. She had 5 siblings Asha, usha, Meena and Haridaynath, she is the eldest. Her sister Asha is also a famous singer. After her father passed away she and her family faces a lots of struggle. She sung her fast song ” Nacchu a Gadyu” but the song was remove from the flim. Her first Bollywood song is “Mata ek sapoot ki”.After her breakthrough songs in movie ” Mughle- le -Azam” She never turned back. She sung more than 50000 songs. Apart from singing song she compose song as well. Her famous songs are “lag ja gale”, “Ae mere vatan ke logo”, “Mohe panghat pe”, any many more. She was honored with the most prestigious award of India” Bharat Ratna” in, 2001,more than that she received national film award, flimfare and Legion of honor and many more awards in her career. She is always be the heart and soul of Bollywood melody.
