  Sum of two numbers is 34, one of the number is 18 .Find the other one.

  According to the given question, we have:

  x + y = 34

  They have given one of the number is 18, so by substituting it we get the following equation.

  x + 18 = 34

  To find the value of ‘x’, we’ll solve this equation:

  x = 34 – 18

  x = 16

  Therefore, the other number is 16.
