1)Women’s rights and gender roles underwent major change as a result of World War II. The life of women changed significantly during World War II. Similar to the majority of wars, many women discovered that their roles, possibilities, and responsibilities grew. To replace the men who had left for war, many more women entered the workforce. As a result, women began to hold positions that were previously reserved for men, which resulted in a substantial shift in gender roles1. In non-combat roles, women served in the military as well2.
Women were particularly degraded as a result of the war because they were sexual assault victims1. However, women were also liberated by the war. It gave American women enormous chances to pursue positions that had never before been available to them.
2)The reasons behind World War II are numerous and complicated. Heavy reparations were placed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles, which put an end to World War I, and this instilled hatred and bitterness among Germans. Another significant factor that led to the war was the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany. World War II was launched in 1939 with the invasion of Poland as a result of Hitler’s belligerent foreign policy. The effects of World War II were extensive. Millions of people died as a result of the war, which also left much of Asia and Europe in ruins. It also ushered in the Cold War and saw the rise of the Soviet Union and the United States as superpowers.

1) During World War II, the way people thought about what women could do and how they should be treated changed a lot. Women’s lives changed a lot in World War II. To fill the jobs left by men who went to war, lots of women started working. Women started working in jobs that only men were allowed to do before. This made a big change in how people saw men and women’s roles. Women were also in the military, but not fighting in battles.
War made things worse for women because many of them were sexually assaulted. But, the war also freed women. It allowed women in America to have big opportunities for jobs they had never had before.
2) There are many reasons why World War II happened, and they are difficult to explain simply. The Treaty of Versailles made Germany pay a lot of money for the damage caused in World War I. This made Germans angry and upset. The rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany was a big reason why the war happened. World War II began in 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland because he was being very aggressive towards other countries. World War II had many big impacts. Many people died because of the war and Asia and Europe were destroyed. This also started a time of tension and conflict called the Cold War. It made the Soviet Union and the United States very powerful countries.
