Food Web

What is a food web? Why is it necessary to maintain the ecological balance?

Food Web

The food network is a complex system of several different food chains. Food, networking, and food relationships between the different species that live in an ecosystem or in a given place of residence. An important part of the food chain, each organism is as important to the ecosystem. Therefore, organisms are dependent on one another.

In a simple food chain, aquatic insects, plants, and small fish feed on insects. The big fish eat the little fish, and the people catch and eat a fish. However, organisms often feed on more than just one kind. This interaction is very important, because if one organism is reduced or eliminated, the organisms that feed on it, not necessarily lose, and they will be able to find other food sources.
