What is water pollution? How does it impact our environment?

Impact of Water Pollution on Environment

Oil spills are a Few of the most well-known instances of contamination of the water, to his Instagram in oil. One of them was the Exxon Valdez oil spill, which occurred when an oil tanker crashed into a reef off the coast of Alaska and more than 11 million gallons of oil were spilled into the ocean. Another incorrect oil spill was the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, when an explosion of oil production to more than 200 million gallons of oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Pollution such as acid rain can have a direct impact on the pollution of the water. As for the particles, such as sulfur dioxide, rising up high in the air, they can connect with rain to produce acid rain. Acid rain can make lakes acidic, killing fish and other wildlife. Impact on the environment, the pollution of the Water, can have a catastrophic effect on the environment. The contamination of the Water can reach a point where there is not enough oxygen in the water for the fish to breathe. The fish can be really melting! Sometimes the infection can affect the entire food chain. The small fish to absorb the harmful substances, such as chemicals, in the body. The bigger the fish are, eating less fish, and they even become infected. Birds or other wildlife can eat a bigger fish, and the burden of air pollution. An example of the usage of an insecticide (insect killer) is a TRACE. When the birds were eating the infected fish, they laid a thin shell of eggs. The population of birds of prey began to descend to TRACE, it was thrown out. Water can also lead to serious problems in the rivers and streams. The bacteria in the water use oxygen to destroy the waste. If the wastewater is too much, to the bacteria that consume a lot of oxygen, and it is not enough to hold the fish. The pollution of Water due to large events, such as acid rain and oil, to completely destroy the protection of the marine environment.

The contamination of various water bodies due to human activities is termed water pollution. These days, pollution is a well-known topic to everyone because it is causing a lot of damage and climate change, which in turn is again hitting us human beings. Water pollution is caused by to disposal of harmful, untreated waste from factories, dumping non-biodegradable waste directly into water bodies, and other forms of contamination.

Harms caused due to water pollution:

1. It causes various water-borne diseases, such as cholera, diarrhea, some of which could be as serious as taking lives, and others make our immune system very weak.

2. Water is our basic necessity to sustain life, and if this gets contaminated, the whole of the living species gets affected gets to ultimately suffer.

3. Water animals gets to die due to the increasing toxicity in the water bodies, and some of them that manage to survive transfer the toxicity to us human beings as we consume them.

4. The toxic water also affects the growth of our crops, which we consume and once again passes the toxicity to us through the food we eat.

Water pollution is a very serious matter to look into, and we must take the necessary steps to mend our ways and get back to a healthy life.
