Effects of Family Problems on Mental Health
A family is a place of peace. When we become so stressed in life, we find peace in the family. But sometimes we can not maintain peace in the family. For various reasons, conflict between family members can arise. Those who are so badly affected by conflict in the family are the children of the families. It has a very bad effect on their mental states. Children are mostly affected by the conflict between their parents. Research shows that most of the people who have any physiological problem have a bad family history. When children see their parents fight with each other, they will feel disturbed. Their mental peace will be damaged. Unsettled families make the children upset. It can raise their insecurity, and they may feel bad about themselves. If the conflict becomes aggressive, they may develop some physiological problems. Feeling like anger, miser,y and depression can ruin their childhood. It affects their school life and friendships. They can’t be full of life because of the dark side of their families. So the parents should value their children and communicate with them. Never show aggressive behaviour in front of them. Their life can be more peaceful and happy if parents keep this in mind. Try to be more understanding with them. Don’t show your frustration to them. Children who don’t have a happy childhood can be in misery for the rest of their lives. Every family faces many kinds of difficulties in their lives, but the elders of the families should shield their children from it.
