The Himalayas or Himalayas, is a mountain range containing fifty mountains exceeding 7,200 m in elevation.

This mountain range is found in South and East Asia, separating the plains of the Indian Subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau.

The range has many of earth’s highest peaks, including Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world at the border between Nepal and China.
