My favorite Bollywood star is Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant Singh Rajput, an Indian actor best known for his work in Hindi cinema was born on 21 January 1986. He starred in various successful Bollywood films such as M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, and Chhichhore. During his career, he had received a Screen Award and was also nominated for the Filmfare Awards on three occasions.

He dropped out of his engineering course at the Delhi College of Engineering and started with the theater industry in Mumbai. He started his career in Hindi television serials. His debut show was the romantic drama “Kis Desh me hai Meraa Dil”. After that, he was also featured in the show “Pavitra Rishta” after which he really became famous in the industry. He then made his Bollywood debut in the movie “Kai Po Che” which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel “The 3 mistakes of my life”. With this, his Bollywood career had taken an upside road with the films named “Shudh Desi Romance” and “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy”. He was offered multiple films, some with lead roles and some with supporting actor roles like “PK”. He was also offered “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” which was based on the real-life journey of Dhoni. For this movie, he was nominated for the first time for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Not just acting, he was also the founder of a non-profit organization and the co-founder of a technological group.

In March 2017, he signed a film “Kedarnath” in which he starred with Sara Ali Khan. It was a love story based on the backdrop of the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand. The shooting of the film began in September 2017 and was released by the end of June 2018.

He died by suicide in June 2020 at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. Thereafter, his last film “Dil Bechara” got released in 2020 after his demise on the platform Hotstar.
