    Active voice:- When the subject emphasis on the sentence is, and the subject does an action it’s called active voice. In a simple way When you directly say a sentence. The main rule of actives voice is-

    Subject + verb + Object.

    Example:-

    I play cricket in the playground.

    Riya and Gita are dancing Odissi on the stage.

    I eat rice daily.

    Mother always cooks tasty meals for me .

    Rachel plays guitar.

    Nightingale sings sweet songs.

    She gave me a present.

    Passive voice:-

    When the object emphasizes the sentence or the object affected by the actions of the subject in the sentence, it’s called passive voice. In a simple way When you indirectly say a sentence. The main rule of passive voice is –

    Object +helping verb (Am/is/are/Have/had/was were) +Verb(past participle)+ By+ Subject

    Example:-

    Cricket is played in the playground by me.

    Odissi is danced on the stage by Riya and

    Gita.

    Rice is eaten daily by me.

    Tasty meals are always cooked by my mother.

    Guitar is played by Rachel.

    Sweet song is sung by Nightingale.

    Present was given to me by her.

    Difference between Active voice and Passive Voice:-

    Active voice is known as direct voice, and passive voice is known as indirect voice.

    The rules of active voice is, (Subject + verb + Object), on the other hand the rule of passive voice is Object +helping verb (Am/is/are/Have/had/was were) +Verb(past participle)+ By+ Subject).

    In the active voice the subject emphasizes the sentence, but in the passive voice the object emphasizes the sentence.

    In the active voice in a sentence the subject does an action, but in the passive voice the object is affected by the actions of the subject in the sentence.

    Active voice is quite simple to understand, but passive voice is not so simple to understand.
