The role of socialization is to introduce people to the standards and norms of the social group or the society. To prepare people to take part in a group, which will meet the expectations of the group.
Socialization is very important for children who are beginning this process, your home, your family, and stay in school. They will learn what is expected of them when they grow up and become full-fledged members of the society. Socialization is also important for adults to enter a new social group. In the broadest sense of the word; it is the process of communicating with the norms, values, beliefs, and practices of the new members of the group.
Socialization is critical both to individuals and to the societies in which they live. As the individuals, of social interaction, it also offers us with the means by which we will gradually be able to see ourselves through the eyes of others, and how we can learn who we are and how we fit into the wider world. In addition, in order to be effective and able to function in society, and we are going to need to learn the basics of both material and non-material culture, as well as everything from how to dress, to the extent that it is appropriate for the occasion; from when we sleep to what we sleep on; and from what is considered to be appropriate for you to eat in the evening, and even with the use of stoves to cook it. The most important thing to learn is the dominant language or in the language used in sub-cultures, whether verbal or symbolic, to be able to communicate and to think. As we saw with Danielle, without socialization we do not have a certified self-esteem.
