Rath Yatra is a significant Hindu event honoring Lord Jagannath, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. This event, which draws millions of visitors, is held in Puri, India, in June or July.

Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Festival, allows worshippers who are not barred from entering temples to view the gods to do so. Rath Yatra represents unity and brotherhood.

On Rath Yatra, Lord Jagannath, his sister Subhadra, and his brother BalBhadra are said to attend Gundicha Devi’s shrine or the ‘Mausi Ma’ temple on their chariots.

The full Rath Yatra event lasts 12 days and contains several rites.
