Cybercrime refers to the crime of stealing someone’s private data or trying to harm anyone through the use of electronic devices like mobile phones, computers, laptops and the Internet. Cybercrimes are classified into four main categories are Financial, Privacy, Hacking, and Cyber Terrorism. The financial crime is stealing the money of users or account owners. Similarly, also stealing data from organizations can bring economic fraud. Moreover, transactions are hugely risked because of it. Each year hackers hack lakhs and crores of rupees from people and the government. Privacy crime involves snatching your data which you do not wish to share with others. Besides, due to it, people undergo a lot and some even execute suicide because of their information’s mishandling. Modern-day terrorism has evolved way beyond the way of 10-20 years ago. But cyber terrorism is not just associated with terrorists or terrorist institutions. But to frighten some person or domain to the grade of creating fear is similarly to Cyber Terrorism. With this era of Technology and easy admission to the internet, anyone can effortlessly achieve it. Because of this rapid pace of development from the earlier decade. Moreover, the internet has unlocked a world of information that everybody can access. This percentage of crime, particularly the rate of Cyber Crime, has boosted vastly crumple. Furthermore, the rate of circulation of data has risen quickly due to the higher speed of the internet. Overhead all, due to all these problems, Cybersecurity has become an important interest for the community. To stop cybercrime, the government has made several laws. These laws conform as safety against Cyber Crime. Besides that, the government has also inaugurated cyber cells in police stations to dispute the crisis of Cyber Crime as soon as possible. So we should be more aware and start aware others on the cyber crime.
