  Factorise the following expression.

  p²−10p+25

  Let,

  p² – 10p + 25

  p² – 2 × p × 5 + (5)²

  By using identity,

  (a – b)² = a² – 2ab + b²

  Therefore,

  p² – 2 × p × 5 + (5)² = (p – 5)² = (p – 5) (p – 5)
