Do Blind People See Dreams
Blind people do dream in visual images. It is indeed true.
Considering blind people, there are two main possibilities:
1. A person can be blind by birth.
2. A person could have lost their eyesight later in life.
Considering case 1, a person can still dream with visual images, there lies a possibility. This is so, as though the person has not seen anything or felt anything, but dreams are events of our imagination. We dream about things we adore. Hence, people who are blind by birth dream with visual images too, as though they have not seen anything for once, but in dreams, imaginations can have any route.
Considering case 2, a person who has become blind later in their life can dream of visual images. This happens because of the memories of the last thing they saw before losing their eyesight. For such people, and many others, dreams are consequences of events that are remembered at the back of our minds. These are dreams that are a combination of imagination, infactuation, and reality. Hence, their dreams can have real-life incidents and objects.
Dreaming is possible for anyone and everyone. We can’t ask people about their dreams directly or check if they see visual images in their dreams or not. This is so because we, as normal people, do not remember most of our dreams just after waking up either.
Some might see dreams as a nightmare, while some enjoy dreaming about unreal things.
It’s all about perspective.
