First we must understand global warming. Global warming, the gradual increase in Earth’s average temperature, brings about several profound consequences. As temperatures rise, extreme weather events like heatwaves become more frequent, impacting communities worldwide. Melting ice caps and glaciers contribute to rising sea levels, posing a threat to coastal areas. This warming climate intensifies hurricanes, droughts, floods, and wildfires, affecting ecosystems and human settlements. Ocean acidification, resulting from increased carbon dioxide absorption, harms marine life, particularly coral reefs. The interconnected impacts also lead to biodiversity loss as species struggle to adapt to changing environments. To combat global warming, it’s crucial to reduce our carbon footprint through energy-efficient practices and the use of renewable energy sources. Preserving forests, adopting sustainable transportation, reducing waste, conserving water, and spreading awareness about climate change are vital steps toward a more sustainable future. The below videos explain it in a fun intersting way. Global warming has some major impacts which include a rise in temperatures, sea levels, and melting of ice caps. It can cause natural disasters such as hurricanes to occur frequently, it can also cause certain species to extinct. these can also affect our health by causing skin cancer due to the depletion of the ozone layer.

To prevent global warming, we can increase the use of renewable energy decrease the use of fossil fuels, and encourage public transportation and riding bikes, walking, and electric vehicles. It is also important to spread awareness about global warming and its harmful effects on Earth. We can also develop strategies to adapt the climate change and implement early warning systems for extreme weather conditions
