    The Mughal emperor known for his love for literature and poetry was Bahadur Shah Zafar, also known as Bahadur Shah II. He was the last Mughal emperor and a notable poet himself. His reign marked the end of the Mughal Empire after the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Bahadur Shah Zafar was an accomplished poet and patron of the arts, and his court was a center of cultural and literary activity. His poetry, written in Urdu, reflects themes of love, mysticism, and the struggles of his time.
