Importance of a Listener

Being an honest hearer means that you specialize in the person who’s speaking, interrupting, or responding but rather simply listening to them. Sensible listeners play an additional passive speaking role within the voice communication, however, they actively interact with the opposite person victimization visual communication and follow-up queries. They respect the person who’s speaking, though they ail them and react within the moment while not expectation. At the tip of AN interaction with an honest hearer, the speaker ought to feel revered and understood.

Your actions directly affect worker behavior and productivity. If your team members ask you to solve their issues too many times and you don’t speak up, you may be mostly guilty.

And there’s one part of your behavior — listening — that produces a huge impact. Just by improving your listening skills, those who report back to you will become better drawback solvers and more practical at their jobs.

•Reading

•writing and

•speaking

All these Communication skills are interconnected with each other. There is great importance to learn these skills for better Communication.

A good listener is a person who always asks after the activities to clear their concepts. Student who always clear their doubts will do better in their exams. We need to be good listeners and good speakers.

If we don’t have proper knowledge about this skill, we may fail to express our thoughts, feelings to the listener. This will become a barrier to Communication.

It is very important to enhance our speaking skills. But we need to be good listeners first before being speakers.

1. As listening skills firstly impart knowledge in yoursel. If we are listening to someone like a teacher, leader, or anyone, this will boost your knowledge about the situation.

2. If you are a good listener, then you can get the way to speak. If you are attending any seminar or programs, you can get idea how to speak.

3. You can correct pronunciation while listening. Yes, if you are listening to a good speaker, then pronunciation will be improved.

4. We can get an idea of where to put stress, where to add punctuation marks.

5. It will also enhance your interpersonal communication skills like posture, gestures, body language, and eye contact.

6. Your vocabulary will be improved if you are listening properly.

7. It is believed that if you can listen with your consciousness, it will be memorised at that time only.

8. Finally, you have become a good speaker now.
