Insomnia is a disorder that is related to the sleep cycle. In this, the person suffers from falling asleep or sleeps too late.
This problem can persist for too long or for a short period as well.
Acute insomnia can last anywhere from a single night to several weeks. Insomnia is considered chronic when it occurs at least three times a week for three months or longer.
2 types of insomnia are :
Primary Insomnia – This indicates that your sleep issues are unrelated to any other health ailment or issue.
Secondary Insomnia – This indicates that you are having difficulty sleeping due to a medical problem.

Stress in life
The environment in which you live
Issues related to mental health
Changes in your sleep routine, such as jet lag, a new shift at work, or poor habits.
