  Find the height of a cylinder whose radius is 7 cm and the total surface area is 968 cm².

  Given :

  Radius of cylinder = 7cm

  Total surface area = 968cm²

  Let the Height of the cylinder be ‘h’

  As we know

  Total surface area of cylinder

  = 2πr( r+ h )

  2 × 22/7 × 7( 7+ h)

  44/7 × 49 + 7h = 968

  308 + 7h = 968

  7h = 660

  h = 660/7

  so required height is 660/7 cm
