The only letter that does not appear on the periodic table is the letter “J.” The periodic table of elements uses symbols to represent each element, and all the symbols are derived from the element’s name or a Latin name for the element. The letter “J” does not occur naturally in the names or symbols of any known elements, so it is not found on the periodic table.
