Plants mainly use the colors red and blue for photosynthesis.

Red Light: This wavelength falls in the range of 630-700 nm and plays a crucial role in photosynthesis, particularly in light-dependent reactions.

Blue Light: Falling in the range of 400-500 nm, blue light also plays a significant role in photosynthesis, especially in controlling various processes like phototropism and stomatal opening.

While red and blue light is most important, plants also utilize other colors within the visible light spectrum to varying extents for photosynthesis. Greenlight, which is reflected rather than absorbed by chlorophyll, is not as efficiently used for photosynthesis.
