  1. The ratio of the lengths of two similar rectangles is 3:5. If the smaller rectangle has a length of 12 cm, what is the length of the larger rectangle?

  3/5 = 12/ L

  cross multiplying, 3*L = 12*5 = 60

  L= 60/3

  Therefore Length of larger rectangle is = 20
