  1. Preethi spent 30 minutes doing math homework and 15 minutes doing science homework. What is the ratio of time spent on math to time spent on science?

  To find the ratio of time spent on math to time spent on science, we need to divide the time spent on math by the time spent on science.

  Math time: 30 minutes

  Science time: 15 minutes

  Ratio = Math time / Science time

  Ratio = 30 minutes / 15 minutes

  Ratio = 2

  Therefore, the ratio of time spent on math to time spent on science is 2:1.

  to find the ratio of time spent on math to time spent on science is:

  time for maths/time for science=30/15

  =1/2

  therefore,ratio of time spent on maths to time spent on science is 1:2
