    Plants:<div>

    1. Cacti have adapted to the desert by storing water in their thick, fleshy stems and leaves. Example: Saguaro cactus.

    2. Succulent plants have thick, water-retaining leaves to conserve moisture. Example: Aloe vera.

    3. Desert plants often have shallow but widespread root systems to capture as much water as possible when it rains. Example: Joshua tree.

    •Animals:-</div>

    1. Some desert rodents are nocturnal, coming out only at night to avoid the extreme daytime heat. Example: Kangaroo rat.

    2. Camels have adapted to the desert by storing water and fat in their humps, which allows them to go for long periods without food or water. Example: Dromedary camel.

    3. Desert snakes have adapted to conserve water by not sweating or urinating as much as other snakes. Example: Sidewinder rattlesnake.
