    1. Adjacent angles: These are angles that share a common vertex and a common side but do not overlap. They are side by side, with no interior points shared.

    2. Vertical angles: Vertical angles are a pair of non-adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. They have the same vertex and are opposite each other. Vertical angles are congruent, meaning they have the same measure.

    3. Linear pairs: Linear pairs are a pair of adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. They are supplementary, meaning their measures add up to 180 degrees. In other words, the two angles form a straight line when combined.
