What are the criteria and qualifications that one should have to become a judge at the Supreme Court and High Court?

Judges play the most crucial role in the whole justice system. They are responsible for conducting a fair and unbiased trial. After going over every detail and minutely examining all the evidence, judges decide whether the accused is guilty or not guilty. Depending on the severity of the crime, the judge pronounces sentence that could be a fine or prison term or both.
To become a judge, you have to first get a law degree, which is called LLB. Then get experience of lawyer of 5 years minimum. For the betterment of your result and knowledge you can do a course called LLM. Then you have to take an exam, and then if you clear the exam, you will become the judge of the District Court or civil court. Then, if you did good work, you will get promoted to High Court and then to Supreme Court, or if you did well, you can be directly selected for High Court.
