Environmental Protection: Science & Engineering
Many people would criticize advancement in science and technology due to the adverse effects it has on the environment. Let’s consider the industrial revolution, the invention of the spinning jenny, the steam engine, and the increase in the number of factories led to a higher amount of pollution that the world hadn’t witnessed earlier. But that day, people avoided the increase in pollution levels, since the factories gave people a way to earn a living. But later, this advancement in technology led to a problem: Pollution. Is it possible to reduce the amount of pollution using advanced technologies? The answer is yes. We can reduce the pollution levels to an extent. Examples for advancement in scientific achievements in the field of pollution and environmental conservation include catalytic converters, carbon filters, floating tidal walls, etc. These types of machines help us reduce the pollution rates. The development of solar-powered vehicles and electric vehicles has also opened a new era in the conservation of fossil fuels. It is better to upgrade to other modes of fuel economy since it would cause a major change in supporting the Earth.
