Constitution Formation and Public Discontent

Formation of Indian Constitution:-

The Constitution of India is the largest in the world. The constitution was announced on 26 January in 1950, three years after India’s independence. A special committee was elaborate to make and outline the constitution. The constitution gives all the information related to what is legal and what is illegal in the country. In addition, with the actualization of the constitution, the Indian subcontinent became the Republic of India. Besides, the drafting committee consisted of seven members that were led by B.R. Ambedkar. Moreover, the constitution keeps prosperity and harmony in the country. The Indian Constitution has a presentation of 448 fourhundred and forty-eight Articles, twenty-five groups, 12 Schedules, and five appendices. Around 3 years were taken to complete the draft of the constitution.

The Constitution has hard and soft sides. While on one side, enormous power needs to be followed carefully to keep the law and order in the country, on the other side, the citizens can appeal to change the outdated provisions. But certain provisions can be easily amended, and some of the provisions take a lot of time and effort to amend. There have been more than 100 amendments in the constitution from the day it was enacted. The constitution declares India as a secular country, which means it doesn’t give special treatment to a specific religion. The Constitution put the welfare of its citizens at a first place than the state. It also gives equal rights to education to everyone. All of the citizens have to respect the National flag and national anthem. It doesn’t matter whether they are poor or rich, they all should respect it. Dr. B. R Ambedkar did an unforgettable job in this Constitution. This constitution helped India to become a Republic country around the world.
