    (i)2.4 x 100

    => 2.4 x 100 = 24/10*100

    = 24*10

    = 240.


    (ii) 0.24 x 1000 = 24/100*1000

    = 24*10

    = 240.

    (iii) 0.024 x 10000 = 24/1000*10000

    = 24*10

    = 240.

    (i) given x=11/5

    -x=-11/5

    -(-x)=-(-11/5)=11/5=x

    hence,-(-x)=x is valid for this.

    (ii) given x= -13

    -x=13

    -(-x)=-13

    hence,-(-x)=x is valid for this.
