Impact of Plastic Waste
Plastic waste is the waste produced by plastic after its usage. The plastic waste has reached in very higher amounts nowadays. Putting their needs and uses aside, it is very important to save our mother earth from the plastic waste.
Nowadays, it has become the most prominent problem in the whole world. It is not an individual problem, but it is the whole nation’s problem. Here and there we can see plastic covers, plastic glasses, plastic wrappers etc. are seen on the roadsides. It is very important not to throw them on the roadside because some of the animals consume the plastic instead of the food they are eating. And it has become a threat to their lives. To reduce the use of plastic and to show your mother that there are some alternatives,
1. We can use Jute bags instead of plastic bags, which harm nature. The Jute bags are eco-friendly and are easily degradable. Using jute bags helps us to reduce the use of plastic bags to some extent. The use of plastic is reduced to some extent with jute bags.
2. Plastic glasses can be replaced by paper glasses. Nowadays, we can see portable paper glasses, which are highly recommended as they are eco-friendly and easily degradable.
3. We can replace plastic bottles with copper bottles or some other bottles. The use of plastic bottles is very high, so we can replace the plastic bottles with alternatives.
In one way or the other, we must try to reduce the use of plastic to some extent. It’s very important to be responsible towards our Mother Earth. It’s not one person’s problem; rather, it is the nation’s problem. So, one must try to reduce the use of plastic and must motivate others to reduce the usage.

First a fall what is plastic? Plastic is a man-made material that cannot be decomposed as it is not a natural substance. Plastic was invented to make normal life easy. Plastic is introduced as the container for every single household item that we buy in day-to-day life. As it cannot be decomposed, it takes millions of years to decompose into soil, and people are using plastic in huge amounts, and they are decomposing plastic in every new place, which is getting polluted because of the plastic waste thrown there. And where there is demand for plastic, the production of plastic is also growing in a huge amount, which is a really serious thing.
Problems because of plastic waste.
1)Because formation of a layer of clay in the soil, rain water is not able to reach the level of the groundwater water, because of which the level of groundwater is decreasing very rapidly.
2) Daily, so many animals die not only on land but into the sea because of eating plastic or getting trapped in plastic. Because people are throwing plastic out and innocent animals who don’t know what to eat and what not to eat they eat plastic without knowing that it’s dangerous and into the sea people are composing tons of plastic because of which the aquatic life is in danger because they also get trapped into it and die because of suffucation.
3) Humans are also getting affected due to the increase of plastic waste there are many people out there who think that burning plastic is effective way to destroy it or decompose it but they don’t know that the dangerous gases that releases during the process of burning of plastic, it can cause severe respiratory chronic disease to humans as well and also gives a tremendous increase in to the global warming and air pollution.
Ways to reduce plastic waste and the effects of plastic pollution.
1) Spread awareness around you to people who are using classic in a very large amount or who are using wrong ways to decompose plastic like not showing it into the right place aur buying polythenes or buying plastic staff to save money, etc.
2) Use paper bags, jute bags, or eco-friendly bags instead of plastic polythene and insist of plastic containers use of paper plates, and Steel or glass utensils. Nowadays, many people are introducing eco-friendly replacements for plastic, so put in some effort, spread awareness about those products.
3) Always decompose plastic in the right container as the government has already separated the biodegradable and nonbiodegradable waste which are decomposed by using proper methods which causes minimum harm to our earth. So, support and follow all government rules and policies.
