Preparation

How to Play

Option 1: Match the Animal Shadows

1. Look carefully at each black animal shadow.
2. Cut out all the colorful animal pictures.
3. Compare each animal with the shadows by looking at its shape, ears, tail, body, and other features.
4. Find the matching shadow for each animal.
5. Paste the animal on top of its correct shadow.
6. Continue until every shadow has its matching animal.

Option 2: Name the Animals

1. Pick one animal cutout.
2. Say the animal’s name aloud.
3. Find its matching shadow.
4. Paste it in the correct place.
5. Repeat for all the remaining animals.

Option 3: Observation Challenge

1. Before pasting, ask children to describe each animal’s special features.
2. Compare the features with the shadow.
3. Match and paste each animal correctly.
4. Discuss how shadows show only an object’s outline.
