Materials Needed

Instructions

1. Download and print the worksheet page.
2. Gather cotton earbuds (cotton swabs) and washable paints in the colors shown on the worksheet.
3. Pour a small amount of each paint color into separate trays or palettes.
4. Place the worksheet on a flat surface.
5. Look carefully at the earbud patterns shown on the worksheet.
6. Use real cotton earbuds to recreate the same patterns by matching their position and direction with the example shown.
7. Dip each end of an earbud into the matching paint colors.
