Counting and Addition a simple and creative activities for kids that provide them a knowledge about numbers. This activity can be done by all age groups. Activity is given in two forms- colored and black-white, kids choose whichever is suitable for them. They have to use one die for numbers less than or equal to 6, and two dice for numbers more than 6. There are some key features:

Materials Needed:

  1. Printables
  2. Scissors (with adult supervision)
  3. Glue or a glue stick
  4. Ruler

Plan Of Action :

  1. Cut through the dotted line on pages 5 and 6. Cut strands of each shape horizontally, with each number having its own box of glue element in it. Use scissors to cut the shapes. Do it under the supervision of a teacher or parent.
  2. Attach each strip of numbers by gluing the square with a glue symbol on the back of the sun. (The numbers and the sun should be facing you.)
  3. Page 7 contains the cutout of the dice. To make the dice, cut along the given dotted lines. Then, carefully fold the connected line outward using a ruler. Attach the shapes marked with numbers 1 to 7 to create a dice made of numbers.

How To Play:

  1. Roll the shape dice and wait until it rests on one shape. Then, cut out a box of the visible shape on top.
  2. \Add the numbers that are visible on top. For example: if the kid rolls 2 dice; one dice stops at number 2 and the other stops at number 3, 2 and 3 come together as 5. Then cut one box of number 5.
