Description
This fun cut-and-rebuild puzzle activity helps children develop sequencing, visual perception, and problem-solving skills while learning to recognize different fruits and vegetables. Children will cut the picture into numbered strips and then arrange the strips in the correct order to rebuild the complete fruit or vegetable.

Preparation
- Download and print the worksheet.
- Carefully cut the fruit and vegetable strips along the dotted cutting lines.
- For extra durability, glue the strips onto cardboard or thick cardstock before cutting them out.
- Mix the numbered strips before starting the activity.
How to Play
Option 1: Number Order Puzzle
- Mix all the fruit and vegetable strips.
- Look at the numbers on each strip.
- Arrange the strips in the correct number order.
- Join the pieces together to complete the fruit or vegetable picture.
Option 2: Count and Build
- Count aloud from the smallest number to the largest.
- Find each numbered strip in sequence.

Option 3: Timed Challenge
- Shuffle all the strips.
- Set a timer.
- Challenge children to complete the fruit or vegetable picture before time runs out.
Option 4: Missing Number Game
- Remove one strip from the puzzle.

- Replace the correct strip and complete the fruit or vegetable picture.
