Description
This fun cut-and-paste activity helps children learn where different animals live or move. Children will cut out the animal picture cards and paste each one into the correct category: Land, Water, or Air. The activity builds observation skills, classification abilities, vocabulary, and knowledge about animal habitats.
Materials Needed
- Printed worksheet pages
- Cardboard (optional)
- Child-safe scissors
- Glue stick
Preparation
- Print the worksheet. You can paste the worksheet pages on a cardboard.
- Carefully cut out all the animal picture cards along the dotted lines.
- Look at each animal and think about where it lives or moves.
- Paste land animals in the LAND section.
- Paste water animals in the WATER section.
- Paste flying animals in the AIR section.
- Check your work to make sure every animal is placed in the correct category.

- Store the cards in a labeled envelope for repeated practice.
