Instructions
1. Start at the “Start” box
Locate the “Start” box on the maze (it’s clearly labeled).
This is where you begin solving and moving through the maze.
2. Solve the Math Problem
Inside each box is a math equation (e.g., 6 + 4, 8 × 2, 15 – 5).
Solve the math problem before deciding which direction to go.
3. Find the Correct Answer in Nearby Boxes
Check the surrounding boxes (up, down, left, right — not diagonally) for the correct answer to the problem you just solved.
For example, if the problem is 6 + 4, look for a box with the answer 10.
4. Follow the Path by Correct Answers
Once you find the correct answer, draw a line or use a highlighter to move into that box.
Repeat the process: solve the next problem in that new box and continue moving.
5. Continue Solving and Moving
Keep solving each new equation and following the path of correct answers.
Avoid guessing or skipping! Each step must be solved and matched correctly.
6. Reach the “Finish”
Continue through the maze until you reach the “Finish” box.
If you get stuck or hit a dead end, backtrack and try another path using a pencil.
7. Double-check Your Path
Once completed, go back through your path and check each equation and answer.
You can compare your answers to the Answer Key (usually on the last page).
