Well, if it’s your kids’ playtime and they wish for some fun craft options, give them this puzzle. But the best part? It’s in the shape of an owl!

Activity

• Time for the materials! So bring in your-
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors (adult supervision required)
  • Markers / Crayons
  • Construction Paper
  • Printables

• Construction Paper—On the first page, there is an outline of an owl given, where kids have to stick different body parts to complete the picture.
• Printable body parts—The puzzle has a sheet where different parts of the owl are separately given. To make crafting easier, each body part of the owl is labelled. Just cut the shapes out with child-friendly scissors.
  (Safety measure—kids using scissors to cut the paper must be constantly supervised by an adult.)
• Add in some color—After cutting the paper for the body parts, it’s time to add some color with crayons and markers.
  Stick and finish: Assemble all the individual colored body parts on the construction paper using a glue stick.
• Once done, kids have to mention the names of all the materials they’ve used and write them in a separate column named “I Used” given on the worksheet.
• For the final reveal, cut and stick this column on the construction paper, and your owl’s alive!

So, get your puzzles, print out the PDFs, and go all in. This is a fun crafting task that improves artistic skills in kids while also teaching them about different body parts of the bird. Assembling the body parts is a good way to improve motor skills in tiny kids.
