Description
This fun color recognition activity encourages children to follow a dotted path using their finger. As they touch each colored dot, they tap the matching colored hand on the same page. It helps children improve color recognition, attention, and hand-eye coordination.
Materials Needed
- Printed activity sheets
- (Optional) Cardboard or thick cardstock for extra durability
Instructions
- Download and print the activity sheets.
- (Optional) Paste the sheets onto cardboard or thick cardstock for extra durability.
- Allow the glue to dry completely if using cardboard.
- Identify the color of each hand on the worksheet.
- Start at the beginning of the dotted path and place a finger on the first dot.
- Move along the path, touching one dot at a time.
- Each time you touch a colored dot, tap the hand with the matching color.
- Continue until you reach the end of the path.
