  Angle Sum in Triangles

  Megan loves geometry and is curious about the angles in a triangle. She noticed that no matter what type of triangle she drew (scalene, isosceles, or equilateral), the sum of the three angles was always 180 degrees. Can you prove this to be true for any triangle? Can you think of any other shapes where the angle sum has a similar property?
