     Area = Length x Width
     Area = 10 units x 5 units
     Area = 50 square units

  4. Determine the unit of measurement: The area will be in square units because you multiplied two linear measurements. In this case, the area is 50 square units.

  So, the area of the rectangle with a length of 10 units and a width of 5 units is 50 square units.
