    The weights (in kg) of 10 students are as follows:

    42, 38, 45, 50, 43, 47, 55, 39, 48, 41.

    To find the range, mean, and median of the given weights, we need to arrange them in ascending order first:

    38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 45, 47, 48, 50, 55

    Range = Highest Value – Lowest Value

    = 55 – 38

    = 17

    Mean: To find the mean, we sum up all the values and divide by the total number of values.

    Mean = (38 + 39 + 41 + 42 + 43 + 45 + 47 + 48 + 50 + 55) / 10

    = 448 / 10

    = 44.8

    Median: The median is the middle value in a sorted set of numbers. If there is an even number of values, the median is the average of the two middle values.

    Median = (43 + 45) / 2

    = 44

    Therefore, the range of the weights is 17 kg, the mean is 44.8 kg, and the median is 44 kg.
