2. Herbicides- Weeds can be controlled using chemical methods such as herbicides or weed killers. Selective herbicides target specific types of weeds without harming desirable plants.
3. Biological control- Certain insects, animals feed on specific types of weeds and can be used to control them naturally.
Some measures such as regular monitoring, timely removal of weeds before they produce seeds, maintaining healthy soil, and encouraging proper plant spacing can also help to reduce weed growth.
