  A machine in a soft drink factory fills 840 bottles in six hours. How many bottles will it fill in five hours?

  700 bottles

  Given: 840 bottles in 6 hour.

  So in 1 hour

  Number of bottles =840÷6=140

  Therefore in 5 hours ,

  Number of bottles=5×140= 700

  Therefore there will be 700 bottles in 5 hours
