M. S. Dhoni is an Indian cricketer best remembered for the leading of the Indian ODI team to its second World Cup win in 2011. He made his ODI debut for the national team on December 23, 2004, against Bangladesh and went on to severe as the captain of the Indian ODI team from 2006 to 2016. He debuted as a Test player against Sri Lanka on 2nd December 2005 and led the team in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014. Known for his aggressive playing style, he is known as the best finisher in the limited over format of the game. He is one of the most successful Indian captains and holds several records for his captaincy. Notably the Indian team became the no 1 test team in 2009 under the captaincy of M S Dhoni.
He also led the Indian team to win the 2008 ICC T20 World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. While his IPL format often gets overshadowed by his international records, Chennai Super Kings win IPL twice with the support of Dhoni. The movie named ‘’M.S.Dhoni:An Untold Story’’ stared by late Sushant Singh Rajput was his biopic.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on July 7, 1981 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. His father is Pan Singh and mother is Devaki Devi. He has one elder sister and brother. In his school time is was interested in badminton and football. By chance, his sports teacher sends him as a wicket keeper for a school tournament and he performed well. At that time, he realizes that his field was cricket. He played many local tournaments. He made his Ranji Trophy tournament for Bihar with his first high score, but his team lost that game.
He got railway job as a TTE via sports quota. He picked up for India A squad for a tour of Zimbawe and Kenya. By his good performance he got noticed by the Indian National Team captain Saurav Ganguli.
