Tourism in India
India is a nation which represents “unity in diversity”.Our country has a mixture of religion ,culture, tradition, food etc. Indians have a polite and understanding nature. It is so rich in culture. The foods and places are just amazing.The diversity of India’s languages can be understood by the fact that the Indian currency has 15 languages, besides Hindi and English, printed on it, and most sign boards are written in English, Hindi and the state language.We all Indians are very powerful and United like a joint family who overcome all problems together and remain United. We carry the symbol of peace despite being different from one other religion, cultures and traditions. We Handle all the problems together like a team. The unique thing in India is the extreme largest mountains covered with snow throughout the year. The Himalayas or the abode of snow is the source of the mighty rivers like Indus,Ganga and Yamuna. These perennial rivers irrigate extensive areas in the North to sustain the huge population of the country. At the same time Northern India contains and zones and the desert of Rajasthan where nothing grows accept a few shrubs.India is a Democratic country where people themselves choose their leader and live with freedom and they can do anything they wish to within the limits of the law. If any citizen of India harm any other person, the rules and regulations are there to punish him in order to make him realise his fault. India’s culture is the oldest and civilization in India began about 4,500 years ago. India has 29 states with different culture and civilizations and second most populated country in the world. The Indian culture is known as a mixture of several various cultures.India gave birth to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and other religions. They are now prominently known as Indian religions. In this time Hinduism and Buddhism are the third and fourth-largest religions respectively of the world. Although India is a secular Hindu-majority country, it has a large Muslim population.As India is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious society it celebrates holidays and festivals of various religions. Major festivals include Diwali, Durga puja, Holi, Ganesh puja, Navratri, Rath yatra, etc are there round the year. There are so many tourist spots like Taj Mahal, So many heritage sites which make you fall in love with India.We are proud to be an Indian, and we love to share the message of ” unity in diversity ” to others .
