  X^2+7x-98 = 0<div>

  We spilt the x coefficient 7 in to two parts 14 and -7.

  If we add the two part 14 – 7 , we get 7 coefficient of x.

  if we multiply 14 × 7 , we get the constant term 98 .

  We write the equation,

  x^2+14x-7x-98=0

  We take common elements,

  x(x+14)-7(x+14)=0

  (x+14)(x-7)=0

  x+14=0 and x-7=0

  x =-14 and x=7

  x= -14,7
