Answer : Equal fraction of students passed first class.

    Solution :

    Fraction of students passing first class for class A = 20 / 25 = (4 / 5)

    Fraction of students passing first class for class B = 24 / 30 = (4 / 5)

Since both fractions are equal, equal fraction of students passed first class

    For class A:

    Total students=25

    Students passed with first class=20

So fraction of students in class A who passed with first class = students passed with first class/total students

    Therefore ,Fraction=20/25=4/5

    For class B:

    Total Students=30

    Students passed with first class=24

So fraction of students in class A who passed with first class = students passed with first class/total students

    Therefore ,Fraction=24/30=4/5

Hence the both classes have equal fraction of those students who passed with first class.

According to the question there are two classes, class A and class B consisting of 25 and 30 students respectively out of which 20 students from class A passed in First class and 24 students from class B passed in First class.

The Fraction is the ratio of objects or entity to the total number of object or entity present.

    for example,

There are 5 bananas out of which a person buys 2 bananas, the the fraction of bananas consumed by the buyer is 2/5.

    therefore,

The ratio of students from class A passed in First class = 20/25 = 4/5

therefore, 4/5 fraction of students from class A passed in First class.

    therefore,

The ratio of students from class B passed in First class = 24/30 = 4/5

therefore, 4/5 fraction of students from class B passed in First class.

fraction of students from class A passed in First class= fraction of students in class B passed in First class= 4/5.

Hence, in both the classes the fraction of students passed in First class is equal and not greater or lesser than any of the class.
